- During installation, we got an error message that a virus was

- encountered a corrupt file, and reported it as a virus.

-
- Raul said PC Doctor prefers customers do not set w2K hibernation and

-
- While talking to Raul, booted computer and pressed F1 to open the

- Asked Raul about the record on 010202 showing the chasis fan is not
- running? ref SDS 1 9RIW
-
- Raul suggested I pull the plastic case free to examine the connections
- to the fan. This is accomplished by pressing in on each side and
- pulling out from the bottom, because there are two clips that insert
- into openings in the front panel of the case, so the bottom has to
- slide out, then slightly down.
-
- Powered the system down, and removed the fan from the front panel.
- ..
- The fan looks okay. The blades rotate freely.
- ..
- With chasis fan removed from the case and lying face up, powered
- the system. After a few seconds, the fan ran normally. I was able to
- stop the fan by pressing a finger on the center hub. When I released
- the hub, the fan took off.
- ..
- Put the fan back in the case, while the system was power up.
- After a few mintues the fan stopped running.
-
- Raul thinks the fan my operate on a thermostate of some kind on the
- motherboard.

- [On 020416 installed the chasis fan. ref SDS 7 0001
- ..
- Asked Raul about the cable that is laying on the bottom of the
- case for the speaker shown in the case schematic, also reported on
- 010202? ref SDS 1 WY4M
-
- Raul said that cable is for an extra speaker in the front case that is
- not needed so Pcdoctor did not connect it to connector Y shown on page
- 4 and identified on page 5 of the manual for the main board D850GB.
