041324 -    4.  Listening to the many eulogies I thought how lucky to have been
041325 -        with Millie 24/7 for 30 years. [...cited in the record of

041327 -        telling me that office romances are common at Nixon Peabody,
041328 -        and that Mil was the one great prize nobody "landed" in all

041336 -        why no email from Rod.  Of course Millie was resourceful with
041337 -        people. She made friends easily.  Somehow I missed that gene,

041355 -    7.  I was thankful for a call from Paula at Kaiser the day after
041356 -        Millie died.  Paula was working for approval on a claim we
041357 -        filed to get Mil promised treatment, and so both Paula and I
041358 -        were crying for coming up short this time.  She was consoling
041359 -        saying that Mil and I were a great team, and Millie was proud
041360 -        of what we accomplished.  Still, work is unfinished correcting
041361 -        health care problems that put everyone at risk, and at the
041362 -        moment I'm not sure how to proceed.  I talked to Paula a few
041363 -        days ago and she agreed to submit another claim to their
041364 -        counsel, but the problem is "standing" to present the record.
041365 -        The challenge is how to be constructive without being dismissed
041366 -        as mere blind grieving.
