and in other seminars and events, can be enlightened by the
discovery at Boeing that SDS transforms an organization from resisting good
management (called "KM" in John's letter today), to first accept, then expect
and finally demand more, "intelligence," simply by delivering the goods that
help people, under your theory of
relentless pressure,
reported in the annual
review on January 2nd, and illustrated by record of
favorable response to your
work
during 2003.

Recent events a week or so ago on February 3rd,
citing your growing fame,
further confirm the powerful story occurring at Boeing, where you are on the
front lines of daily battles yielding critical lessons learned on the power of
knowledge. If the people who know the story do not spread the
word, then the blanket of darkness will never be lifted, and the world will
remain in the box of IT forever, based on progress with the FCS effort, and
earlier with the
OHS/DKR project,
illustrated by reports on June 15, 2000,
and later on November 26, 2000, when
people again turned away from the
opportunity to advance from information to a culture of knowledge. ..
Of course I could send John a letter, but you have stronger
bona fides, having just returned from the front lines doing KM
day-to-day. I'm sure John and his followers would love to learn
about the miracle of using knowledge management on the job for
an entire year.
