Subject: | DOD Procurement (BAA) for Intelligence |
Dear Stuart,
Just wishing you happy holidays, and saying thanks very much for notice of the DOD procurement on "intelligence" in your letter dated November 13, 2001.
If demand for intelligence grows enough, SDS will be discovered by those who want it, like you did on June 8, 2001. I have been keeping you up to date on a few things that seem to indicate people grasp the SDS story, if they bump into it on the Internet.
For example, a housewife from Texas called yesterday and talked for an hour, because she found an SDS record and started clicking around, like you did, and thought this would be help her kids in school, her husband's law practice and for managing their lives at home. As you have found, however, when you try to explain SDS, so people will click on a link to discover intelligence is possible, there is a mental wall that is hard to cross even with 23 bridges raised in our call on July 30.
Just wanted you to know I have enjoyed sharing with you ideas for SDS and Communication Metrics, and have appreciated your efforts to present this opportunity for saving time and money to your team at DCMA.
Again, happy holidays.
Sincerely,
THE WELCH COMPANY
Rod Welch
