Dear Morris,
Realize you are very busy, but would like to get a letter from you along the lines issued by Wayne Wetzel on July 25, 2001.
Per telecon with Pat Lincoln yesterday, and Pat's letter below, Pat indicates he will submit a letter to SRI's CEO recommending deployment of SDS for meeting the current crisis, and, further, will assign someone on staff to assist, if necessary, as a result of increased need for analysis of "intelligence," per letter to DCMA yesterday.
A letter along the lines that SDS may help accomplish Intel's goals for improving management published in 1991, and discussed in a meeting at Intel on September 27, 1995, might be possible, based on your work with SDS over the past 15 years or so.
I know this is a touchy issue at Intel, but all hands are needed at this time of exigent circumstance.
