Enclosed are our tapes #20 and #21 for replacement due to failure. Tapes were purchased from Corporate Express and received on September 28, 2000, as shown in our record at....
The problem with tape 21 was reported to Exabyte on April 23, 2001....
Subsequently on August 22, 2001 similar defect occurred in tape 20...
Tapes are being used for interim backups on an IBM type computer using Windows 2000, a 1.4 GHz processor, 46G drive, and 512M RAM. Backups are run by Exabyte Mammoth LTSI 270004-822 Single-ended narrow internal tape drive, received on August 11, 2000....
