Subject:   SDS Update Improves System for Writing a Letter

Dear Gary,

Here is an updated SDS program with improvements you suggested on October 10, and explained in the record yesterday, on October 27. Updated program code is available at....

http://www.welchco.com/09 ..
Improvements to SDS have simplified procedures for writing and receiving documents, explained in the record on October 27.
..
As we discussed today, a key objective of technology is reducing the time for using good management. You mentioned today that technology can make tasks faster and easier to accomplish. SDS strives to make it faster and easier to create consistent structure for sending and receiving documents so that management criteria are available to find information when needed. On August 20, 2002 Murray Altheim reported that other technology cannot create links in 10 seconds to verify accuracy and understand context, so people don't believe SDS can do this, and instead advance the proposition that accuracy is unnecessary overkill in email and conversation. Similarly, people feel it is beyond belief that document management can be accomplished in less than 10 seconds, like I did for this letter.
..
Hopefully, in a few weeks, you will be able to issue a letter using SDS to do the same thing. This will help overcome attitudes that good management takes too much time, and so accurate communications are unnecessary overkill, also discussed on August 20.

Sincerely,

Rod Welch
