Meeting at Intel May 17, 2000 |
Dear Eric,
Thanks again for meeting at Intel to wrestle with thorny questions on knowledge management. While I was clearly outgunned by you and Morris on technical issues, your tough questions helped prepare for Professor Keeler's presentation the following day at SRI on the same scope, and showed that the CDS requirements you submitted on May 5th and the 8th offer a strong start toward supporting Doug's goal of a DKR.
Please submit feedback on additions and corrections to the record on May 17, when convenient.
Additionally, I apologize for not being able to read the handwritten notes you offered on POIMS during the meeting at Intel. When time permits, it would be a great help to get your comments via email on the viability of POIMS in relation to your vision of augmenting human intelligence, aiding collaboration and deliberation. For a long time, these goals have guided development of POIMS, so your input on improvements is important.
Let me know if you want to follow up with another meeting.
Sincerely,
THE WELCH COMPANY
Rod Welch
