Dear Marsha,
Just keeping in touch with another bright star that seems to have popped up on the horizon, discussed recently on another matter.
Thought you might be interested to see an occasions where emotional intelligence came up recently, following our visit in Nipomo.
Follow up on Kathleen. She got some better news a week or so ago. The doctors feel the initial treatments were sufficient to justify continued efforts. They report the cancer seems to have shrunk slightly, and does not seem to have spread, as far as they can tell. She spent a week with her daughter, Patti and Pablito in Newport Beach. So it is a good sign that she is willing to venture out again. The next phase of chemo therapy begins this week.
Kathleen draws strength from visits by all of the family. She appreciated hearing about the recovery of Rob's aunt, which you related during our visit in September.
