111171 - The emerging use of ISO criteria might be a way to sell Communication
111172 - Metrics (i.e., using SDS) to budget conscious customers.  There is
111173 - really no way to accomplish ISO requirements for "traceability" and
111174 - "continual learning" other than with a tool like SDS, and people with
111175 - the skills who can use it.  Stakeholders are requesting a showing that
111176 - consultants meet the ISO and PMBOK criteria as a condition of awarding
111177 - assignments.  The idea is to offer proof of ability to perform certain
111178 - key management functions, as a form of "risk management," to protect
111179 - the investment in capital projects.  Theoretically, this will move the
111180 - competition to budget for providing such capability.
