071001 - Lucille said the meeting scheduled for today, was changed to
071002 - Thursday.  She advised that Dee recommended she change doctor's so
071003 - that UC Med Center would no longer be the primary care location.  This
071004 - would have meant that Lucille would be under the care of the doctor
071005 - who transferred her case to UC Med Center.  Lucille decided not to
071006 - make that change.

071008 - Lucille said Dee has done a great job dealing with the medical people,
071009 - and said she would be lost without Dee's help.

071011 - I asked about the results of the meeting on communications within the

071014 - Initially, Lucille said there was no meeting, then she later indicated
071015 - it is scheduled for Thursday.

071017 - She was told today there is a major cancer in her brain, and she began
071018 - radiation treatment on the cancer at that location.  She expressed
071019 - concern about loosing her hair.  I mentioned that Robby's Aunt Adelaid
071020 - had radiation treatment 10 years ago which caused loss of her hair,
071021 - but now seems to be in much better health.  When I saw Adelaid about 2
071022 - years ago, her hair had grown back, and her weight was back to normal.

071025 - Lucille did not sound as strong today, as when we visited last Friday,
071026 - ref SDS 2 line 071001. She said Bob and Diane were running errands,
071027 - and so she was about to call me, when I called her. We discussed the
071028 - strong family support she has to assist in accomplishing her intent
071029 - and help in any way possible.  She feels comfortable with things as

071402 - on coordination within the medical team has been cancelled.

071404 - She feels very frustrated dealing with the "system," because everyone
071405 - seems too busy to really think through anything.  We reviewed prior
071406 - ideas about giving notice to the lead doctor about potential risks of
071407 - the current agenda.  Sarah said she and Lucille are afraid this will
071408 - alienate everyone.  She will think about it, and if they decide to
071409 - procede let me know, and I will draft up something helpful.
