071001 - Lucille looked pretty good and sounded well.  She had one slight
071002 - cough during our 10 minute visit.  She looked frail, but stronger than
071003 - I expected under the circumstances.  Lucille said her throat is sore
071004 - from the medical treatments she received.  She seemed very engaged and
071005 - sharp.  We spoke briefly about politics.

071007 - Lucille advised a woman came by today to get approval for a home care
071008 - nurse.  Lucille said she decided not to accept that approach for the

071011 - She said Dee and Jamie visited today, and spoke with pride and energy
071012 - about his pending graduation.  Dee will be back for a meeting next

071401 - She said Lucille's temperature is back up this evening.  Diane feels
071402 - Lucille's activity today caused this change, and cited having taken

071404 - visits from Dee and Jaimie, and Millie and I, as causes of the change.

071406 - Diane said she had a long talk with Sarah this evening, but gave no

071409 - She then began an extended statement of preference that I not sit with
071410 - the Johnston family in a future funeral for Lucille.  Diane said that
071411 - if I am invited by her children to sit with the family, she was
071412 - directing me not to do so, etc., etc..  This was one of those
071413 - impossible telecons with Diane, where she asked me to acknowledge her
071414 - "directive."  I thanked her for the call, and said I understand her
