-
- Millie has been significantly more energetic the past few days,
- continuing a trend, probably starting on 061201 when Millie had her
- last treatment on the Taxotere and capecitabine protocol. ref SDS 1

- 1. Please let [the doctor] know that I finally got up the courage
- to follow his advice on 070105. ref SDS 2 G35K Numerous time
- the past month I have put my gear in the trunk with good
- intentions of going to the gym after work, but always chickened
- out, and wound up coming home. This was partly feeling tired,
- and partly afraid about PE not being controlled. ref DIT 1 0001
- ..
- 2. Yesterday, I finally did it. Went to the gym 2 days after
- treatment with cetuximab and did a full class. This was my
- first workout in 6 months. Had a little trouble keeping up
- with the young ones, but got through it with my heart rate up
- and sweating good. This morning I did the stationery bike for
- about 45 minutes, and then did some free weights. ref DIT 1

- ..
- 3. My energy is definitely up, attributed in part to decadron on
- Thursday, but normally that wears off after the 2nd day.

- 4. By copy to UCSF, reporting no adverse side effects from 1st

- which tracks with lastest CA 15-3 down again, at 56 for the
- test on 070131, which is near the low for this 3rd relapse that
- started on 060721. ref DIT 1 EI7I

- 6. When I got cancer in 2002, I set a goal to hike up Mt Diablo
- again with my daughter. Pam still does this a couple times a
- month, but I have been sidelined. Up until today, I was
- beginning to think this was beyond reach. Now, I'm hopeful
- again that the great care I get at Kaiser, and with support
- from UCSF, maybe Pam and I can try it again before too long.
- We'll see what happens. ref DIT 1 EI7R

- [On 080616 Millie tried Mt Diablo trail again and made it

- UCSF on when the next CT test is needed for the cetuximab
- protocol, so that he can order the test in time for the Walnut

- notice to order a CT test to evaluate patient progress on
- the clinical study, and that this would allow time to
- specify that the test also evaluate pulmonary embolism,
- ref SDS 8 5Z6L; the doctor advised the next test for the
