- ..
- Summary/Objective
-
- ref SDS 2 0001, ref SDS 1 0001.
-
- For some reason the IE and Netscape browsers are not working on c11
- with the dial up connection created for Attblogal.net in the manner
- explained on 010202 for c13, ref SDS 1 0845, so disconnected this on
- c11, which was brought to Concord on 010206. ref SDS 2 0001
-
- The Att Dialer program creates a Dial-up Connection in the Network
- directory that is different from the one created by Make New
- Connection in the Network directory. It does not have a provision for
- entering a password, and so cannot be run independently from the Att
- Dialer. This means the password is passed to the dial up network
- connection through the dialer program.
-
- It appears that using the IBM (now ATT) Dialer, causes the dial up
- connection created using the Make New Connection program in the
- Network folder, is disabled. The dial up connection has worked for a
- year, until that Att Dialer was installed on 010202. ref SDS 1 VP3A
- ..
- This seems like an incorrect analysis because the Dial Up
- connection is working on c13, and it has the Att Dialer program
- installed, also, on 010202. ref SDS 1 M75F
-
-
- NTS Enternet 300 for DSL was also removed on c11 today, so we don't
- have to wait for the software to execute. If DSL service is later
- used in Concord, we can restore configuration using the record on
- 010202. ref SDS 1 5395
