Subject:   Schedule File Suddenly Blank
Answering Your 8 letters

Dear Rod,

I installed your updated records. As you suggested, I deleted the directories below D:\sd\08\GLJDY before installing the records.
..
SDS now launches correctly.

I set about documenting the work for the last few days, and things mostly went well.
..
I am, however, having another problem:

The schedule page comes up empty after working with records and then using or Ctrl F6 to move from the current record to the schedule. The schedule screen shows up as an empty file.
..
Closing the Diary with doesn't fix the problem.

The problem appears to be independent of whether the Diary is open or not.
..
I am reviewing records for formatting issues. In reviewing the formatting issues at....

http://www.welchco.com/sd/08/00101/02/02/10/13/080855.HTM#HH6E
..
I realize that I failed to distinguish "guidelines" from rules.
..
I will work of following those conventions more carefully. This brings up the point that we haven't finished working on how to reference and link to your records. It is clear that linking to the reference above in my records is the right action.
..
I will give you a call to see what we can do to get my subject index correct. You will recall that I had to do some patching to get records to show up at all, and it is clear that there are some things messed up.
..
I do want a set of subjects that are not part of the Learning SDS project but pertain to work that I am actually trying to accomplish other than working with SDS.

Thanks,

Sincerely,

Garold L. Johnson
