Mr. Dan Palanza

Subject:   Common Administration
Context Management, Privacy

Dear Dan,

Thanks for your letter received today. Here is some information on your question about SDS architecture, which I call POIMS. Maybe we can talk on the phone to flesh out details. It was good to see consideration of Common Administration. We may be approaching these ideas differently, perhaps in a complimentary way. Again, maybe a phone call can clarify. My sense is that we have jointly recognized an emerging new reality for the practice of management. Combining perspectives from years of experience and thinking about common problems in different ways, presents a challenge of both learning and style. My style strives to provide context, which can appear wordy; so, I try to focus attention on big issues with links. There is no single solution to communication. Tools help, but people ultimately have to cooperate. Thanks for your interest in my work, and efforts to share your vision.

Sincerely,

THE WELCH COMPANY

Rod Welch
