Part 7    Consultants and Subawards

Most of the research (70% - 90%) for Phase I will be performed by the Principal Investigator employed by SRO, which is a small business.

Consultant work will be needed to develop issues, constraints and opportunities for Phase II planning, as explained in Phase I Research Plan (Part 4). Outlay for consultants can expedite the work, because the innovations proposed require specialized expertise. Payment will conform to NSF instructions section 3.5 part 7

Particular consultants have not been identified, because there are ample resources in the marketplace, if funding is approved by NSF. If Phase I research is successful, consultants may wish to join the effort in order to realize significant commercial potential, within the meaning of Disruptive Technology, cited in Part 1.
