Subject: Comm Metrics Web Site planning
                Anytime, Anywhere Business Intelligence

Dear Morris,
Per your request, this is a reminder to check your schedule for some time in about 2 weeks when your class at San Jose State will be on spring break. I would like to visit to map out design considerations, and/or get your input on progress todate for a Web site as a medium for delivering "business intelligence" created using SDS.

Please advise when we might be able to devote a few hours to this.

Some considerations or goals about this objective are in the attached HTML file that anlayses the meaning and utility of "business intelligence." Tom Keesling at USACE who issued the Corps report on Communication Metrics told me on Friday that showing SDS records in HTML on a Web browser makes it easier to explain how this method is different from ordinary "documentation" and adds value to management. We want to build a Web site that lets people access the external links to an SDS record in the manner they can access internal links in the attached Web page.

Here is an email from Dave Vannier with his new title, which you requested.

Sincerely,

THE WELCH COMPANY
