Subject:   Review New SDS Features

Dear Wayne,

Confirming our discussion this morning on changes to SDS. Please call if you need further assistance.

If you take up using HTML, you can print letters and SDS records from the web browser, as an alternate to using SDS print functions. Letters prepared in the SDS system are initiated with PCL, but it can be removed using the first option in the Print menu, as we reviewed this morning. Moving toward HTML positions DNRC to benefit from future technology trends.

Try it by printing this letter and the linked SDS records, to see if the quality meets your needs.

The Gutenberg issue is reviewed in a recent discussion with Morris about Risk Management.

Sincerely,

THE WELCH COMPANY

You should think about upgrading to W98. It has some web browser features built into file management (called "My Computer") that support processes for managing HTML on the local drive. It also makes much more efficient use of hard drive disk space. W95 wastes half the space on larger drives.
