Dear Bill,
There is an SDS program and data base update on the web in:

http://www.welchco.com/sd/10

The record of the transfer has links to reviews recent publications on technology, management productivity and leadership. Here is a direct link as well.

http://www.welchco.com/sd/08/00101/02/98/04/26/132939.HTM#8838

Have you tried creating an SDS Web page using the functon in the "File" menu? How does it compare with using the FrontPage Editor, per our meeting on 971108?

What about viewing SDS records on the Web compared to using the SDS program?

Have you given consideration to linking the PMI Newsletter Web site to the SDS record for content support on say a book review or analysis of industry trends?

An example is Andy Grove's book reviewed on 980307.

Another example is Pac Bell's announcement reported on 980417 of $2.2B capital spending program for 1998 on phone lines largely for Internet support. The CBS News 60 Minutes broadcast on 980412 had a program segment about Information Overload that invites analysis of Grove's explanation of "New Realities" and "Strategic Inflection Points" in relation to Pac Bell's efforts to build the Information Highway. The analysis is in the following record...

Do you need Grove's book? It is on your computer and linked to the record for 980307. If you need the hard copy, just let me know.

Sincerely,

THE WELCH COMPANY
