Per our discussion today, here is a
report
prepared by the San Francisco
District Corps of Engineers showing
cost savings
on Construction
Management and overall project cost from using Communication Metrics. The
report was requested by USACE HQ in Washington, D.C., to evaluate Corps-wide
use of Communication Metrics, which was
recommended in an earlier report
on Mar 28, 1997. Steve Rule reviewed the March report on Communication
Metrics. He
requested a calculation
of cost effectiveness to enhance Turner's competitive position. The
government's assessment may satisfy Steve's objective, and, also, support your
review of Communication Metrics for use on the PeopleSoft project. To
facilitate consideration, a copy is provided for Dick Dorais, as well.
