Thanks for sharing ideas on Communication Metrics at Intel to supplement your
Project Controls program.  I look forward to working with you on finding an
appropriate application opportunity, as we discussed in our
meeting on Jul 28.


When I started in business 35 years ago, CPM was strongly resisted as intrusive
and redundant to Project Managers. A new business environment of more complex
projects in the 60s and 70s helped people see that CPM adds value, and better
technology has made it universal.  My sense is that we are again entering a new
era where adding controls to communications can be helpful in certain settings.
Possibly Intel can pioneer in this effort.
