in San Jose on Oct 11. 1995.


Analysis shows an opportunity to position OS2 as an

Operating System for People and Organizations,
and thereby step beyond market forces imposed by
computer operating systems.  You can see from DEC's event the previous day that
this concept positions IBM to secure its future by shaping
21st Century technology rather than chasing other folks. ref a.


IBM's excellent products will only succeed if they improve productivity and
earnings of people and organizations, noted in a recent CNN report, ref c.  The
attached paper on the New World Order... explains what is needed.  Dick
Sullivan looked at this last year, but IBM was unable to carry through.  It may
have seemed easier to buy Lotus Notes.  By now, or very soon, you will discover
more is needed.  I can help.
