Talked to
John Hodgen
in your office today and he suggested I submit a letter
to you following up our discussions in January 2001 on your paper. There may
be several research opportunities you can pursue, as John and I discussed.

On a related matter, I was pleased to respond in January 2001
to your request for
peer review on an important paper concerning KM which you had written. At that
time, I asked about getting
your comments
on the treatment of knowledge
management which had recently been added to POIMS. Unfortuantely, limited time
has prevented progress; yet, advancing KM requires at some point understanding
methodologies that are effective, as you related on April 25, 2000.

It would be particularly helpful to get a formal analysis that
expands on your
presentation
at SRI on July 25, 2000 concerning SDS, and this would support a
proposal on demonstrating the application of SDS for saving time and money, as
John and I discussed today.
