Dear Jeanne,
This confirms our discussion on December 17 about meeting on pending issues, per Tom Driscoll's suggestion on December 16, and confirmed in Tom's letter on December 27.
This may be a busy time for you getting caught up after the holidays. Our agenda to review medical mistakes has been pending since September. Continued delay compounds complexity, making progress more difficult. You and Mark have done an outstanding job expediting review by appropriate Kaiser staff. Since Tom has sent the matter back to you, we should make a good faith effort to perform the work, then assess follow up. This meeting will take 30 to 60 minutes. If you need clarification of issues or background, feel free to call or submit questions. It would help to have someone from the medical side attend, because all of the issues contain elements of management and medical practice. However, we should not delay meeting in order to wait for other people to respond.
Please advise when we can meet on these matters.
Thanks very much for your help.
Sincerely,
Rod
