Subject:   K-Logs and Weblogs Mold Culture toward SDS

Dear Rod,

Thanks for your e-mail over Thanksgiving weekend. Sorry I wasn't prepared to respond any sooner.
..
After thinking through your e-mail over the past few days, here's my response:
  1. I think you may be correct about web logs molding culture closer to SDS. It's a very weird fluke of nature, but I think it's true.
    ..
  2. Since we last meet, web logging has matured, and now offers some very valuable features at a low cost of entry.
    ..
  3. I do believe there's more benefit to SDS than what k-loggers are now doing.
    ..
  4. I've organized some thoughts on these topics. Of course, they're in outline form. Here's the URL:

    http://www.dynamiclist.com/?node=4a2e5377-12fd-4982-96f0-d9e97c03a6c4
..
Please be aware that viewing this outline requires a modern web browser, such as IE 5.5 or above, Mozilla, Netscape 6 or above, or Opera 7 (now in Beta). Other browsers will not show the outline properly.
..
Last month I completed enough functionality of my online outliner that I've started Alpha testing. This means that the product is feature incomplete and buggy. This will be followed by Beta testing, once the product is nearly feature complete, yet still buggy.
..
Now that I've gotten past this development hump regarding my collaborative writing tool, I'd be happy to meet again and discuss SDS. Please contact me at your convenience to set up another appointment.

Thanks,

Mike Poremba
..
Sincerely,
