Subject:   DSL Under W2000; Work Order C14121744
Welch, 415 781 3456; Tracking #380719

Dear Robert,

Thanks for your letter yesterday reporting you have not heard from Gil. We have to consider how to move forward on this work order C14121744, even if Gil is unable to respond.

You do not mention having reviewed the diagnostic information I submitted following our call on April 18. Was this of any help?

Can you coordinate with Cervando, who has lead responsibility, on how to plan for completion of installation? For example, on April 17, 2000, Erline (415 542 5459) scheduled a Pac Bell rep to visit my office on Saturday, April 22, 2000, to complete installation. Whoever shows up will need skills to troubleshoot installation under Office 2000. Erline asked me to let her know if your team was able to complete installation prior to that, so she can cancel the assignment for Saturday. Now it looks like someone may need to come out.

Someone needs to coordinate with Erline on getting someone to come by who has the necessary skills. Somone needs to coordinate with Patrick on creating the skills, etc. Obviously, this isn't the first time installation on a new system has come up at Pac Bell. How has this been handled in the past?

Please let me know how you plan to procede.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

THE WELCH COMPANY
