Gil:
I have a customer named Mr. Rod Welch who has Windows 2000 and is trying to configure his computer. I've tried calling the DSL Help Desk but received no support. Then I called SWBT and spoke their technical support, but could not resolve the problem. I know you did some Beta testing on Windows 2000, can you help us?
His modem has a green light and he is on sync. We cannot figure out the settings and profiles. The EnterNet software 1.34 has an automatic configuration protocol, but we are missing some minor steps to start surfing the web. Please get back to me a.s.a.p. if you can help; or can you point me in the right direction? I haven't used Windows 2000 and I know it works with our DSL.
Below is a URL that explains all the steps that have been taken. Please review and give us your feedback. I'd also like to know if you can sit in on a conference call with us to guide Mr. Welch through the DSL setup.
I know that this isn't your department, I just want to take care of the customer!
