Dear Einar,
Thanks very much for your letter on February 9, confirming our discussion on February 7 to correct pending issues for a new P4 computer system.
Replacement product that you ordered on February 7, was received today.
The program CD says it is
not for retail or OEM distribution. You indicated in our call on February 7, that a "retail" version would be submitted to replace the defective OEM version received with our new computer. In advance of making the clean installation, which you recommend, please verify we should proceed to install this CD, and that the label does not conflict with Microsoft instructions. We called Microsoft on February 7, under case #SRX010207601263, about three issues that prevented installation and use of Windows 2000 according to standard practice. Microsoft's commitment to quality reflected in your letter on February 9 shows the value of fair dealing and commitment to customer value.
Please call, to expedite clarification, as necessary. Thanks very much for help.
