151503 - advised the current procurement has crashed, an effort is underway to

151513 - Bill advised that his job in the Navy was a manual application of the
151514 - Communication Manager role we are trying to create at COE.  He
151515 - indicated the Navy experienced similar difficulties using conventional
151516 - management practice:  meetings were held without agendas, people were
151517 - unprepared, actions were not followed up, some groups and individuals
151518 - were non-responsive and/or not aggressive in performing the work, etc.
151519 - As a result the Navy created a "Communication Agent" role which Bill's
151520 - group provided, and which he rose to eventually lead.  Sounds like a
151521 - major aspect of this job was to "facilitate" meetings to improve
151522 - productivity/usefulness of meetings.

151549 - drinks can be purchased at no-host bar. Dinner not begins oa 1930, for

151557 - We considered a meeting in a few days at COE.  I need to get a feel if

151560 - training issue.  Last week I suggested that Max consider Bill to
151561 - replace Tom Keesling for the 1 year deal where Tom is being assigned
151562 - to the business systems implementation project.  Max said that he must
151563 - draw from a pool of COE personnel to fill this assignment, so he could
151564 - regard my bringing in Bill as being pushy, even though Bill is likely
