0506 - Summary/Objective
0507 -
050701 - Jeff said he has several contact records for which there is no
050702 - entry in the summary.
050703 -
050704 - We discussed it in general. Jeff will try to recover and let me know
050705 - if he needs further help. I then worked out the procedures below.
050706 -
050707 -    [On 940624 submitted procedures below. ref SDS 1 0001
050708 -
050709 - [On 941201 visited Jeff in San Diego and fixed this problem.

0510 - Analysis
0511 -
051101 - I encountered this problem once also, but could not figure out how I
051102 - solved it, while speaking to Jeff.
051103 -
051104 - If we can open the record then assign the contact profile after
051105 - setting 47 4, then F2 should create the entry in the Summary file.
051106 -     Macro 150 calls macro 163 in 000009 for 47 4, we also need to set
051107 - counter 128 to either 4 for orgz, or 2 for indiv records. We have
051108 - to setcnt 151 21 or 20 for modify or make new. We also have to
051109 - open the contact summary file and enter markcur 33.
051110 -
051111 - Since it is necessary to open the Summary file and enter markcur 33,
051112 - it seems easier just to do the whole thing manually as follows:
051113 -
051114 -      General Procedure/Objective
051115 -
051116 - Use Keyword locator to find Contact Number of record that is
051117 - missing from Summary. Use File List to open Summary file and
051118 - type an entry for the missing contact. Save it. Then open the
051119 - contact record in the regular manner and use F2 to update the
051120 -      Summary.
051121 -
051122 -      Detailed Procedure
051123 -
051124 - If you already know the ID # of the missing record, go to step 5.
051125 -
051126 - 1. Find the contact number for the record you think is missing.
051127 -
051128 - From an SDS record or any editor file, open "Keyword" search
051129 - which is in "Diary/Reports" menu of SDS record, and in
051130 - "Other" for Editor files.
051131 -
051132 - 2. Enter a specification to find the Contact file of the record
051133 - that is missing from the Summary. It will look something
051134 -          like this:
051135 -
051136 -          É======Ë=====Ë==============================================»
051137 -          º Year ºMonthº Specification                                º
051138 -          Ì======Î=====Î==============================================¹
051139 -          º 199Û º All º                                              º
051140 -          È======Ê=====Ê==============================================¼
051141 -
051142 - 3. Hit Tab twice to move cursor into "Specification" box, and
051143 -          type following:
051144 -
051145 -          É======Ë=====Ë==============================================»
051146 -          º Year ºMonthº Specification                                º
051147 -          Ì======Î=====Î==============================================¹
051148 -          º 1994 º All º c: sd 09 "SEAWEST"                           º
051149 -          È======Ê=====Ê==============================================¼
051150 -
051151 - The name in the quotation marks, is the organization for
051152 - which you believe their is a contact record, that is not
051153 - showing up in the Summary.
051154 -
051155 -      4.  Press <Enter>
051156 -
051157 - This gives you a list of Contact records where Seawest is
051158 - entered. It will show you the contact number based on the
051159 - filename for the record. Write this down for use in step 12,
051160 -          below.
051161 -
051162 -
051163 - Open Contact Summary File
051164 -
051165 - 5. Use File List from an SDS record, press F1 F3, or click on
051166 - "File" in the menu bar, and then click on "File Access."
051167 -
051168 - 6. In File Access box, type:
051169 -
051170 -                         sd 09      <Enter>
051171 -
051172 - 7. This makes a list of all contact records and summary files.
051173 - Organizations are in directory:
051174 -
051175 -                         sd 09 02
051176 -

051180 -
051181 - The list will look like this for "02" organizations,

051197 - that corresponds to the first letter in the name of the
051198 - record that is missing. For "Seawest" it would be #19,
