- Date: Mon, 22 Nov 2010 19:52:20 -0800
- ..
- 2. Good seeing you Saturday. Too bad such a miserable rainy day.
- Just confirming our discussion...

- Call anytime, including help using the LG washer dryer.
- ..
- 2. Sasha is normally fed wet food OA 0500a and 0500p, so there
- is plenty of flexibility to suit your schedule. If getting
- here in the morning doesn't work out, as long as Sasha has
- plenty of dry food, she should be okay.
-
- [On 101123 2137 letter from Arlette requests
- clarification on protocol caring for Sasha. ref SDS 15
- 048L
- ..
- Typically I combine both types of wet food, about 25%
- (little more than a teaspoon) from the plastic container,
- and 75% from the can (so a very big teaspoon). I have been
- crushing her 1/2 pill for morning and evening feeding in
- her bowl and mixing with the wet food.
- ..
- 3. Please if you have time, let her outside for a little after
- each meal. She normally will not stay outside more than 5
- minutes or so. There is 0% chance she will jump the fence,
- so don't worry about that. The main thing she will need is
- a little affection, just petting her. If time permits,
- brush her a bit.
-
- [On 101123 2137 Arlette will care for Sasha.
- ref SDS 15 G54U
- ..
- [On 101124 0926 at 1321 Arlette says Sasha is a sweet
- kitti; Arlette is doing terrific job caring for Sasha,
- buying hairball medicine, brushing, and spending time.
- ref SDS 16 XF7M
- ..
- 4. Will leave the remote control for the garage door on the
- dining room table, so if you wish to come in through the
- garage, please feel free. That might make Sasha more
- comfortable than coming through front door. In any case,
- no need to ring the door bell. If you just come in, she
- won't run away, like she does when the door bell rings.
- ..
- 5. Cleaning the cat box upstairs and downstairs every other
- day or so should be adequate. She typically goes outside,
- and so the cat box does not fill up like it did when we had
- Mil's other cat, Sweetie.
- ..
- 6. Sasha uses the upstairs water bowl more than downstairs, so
- please check it once a day.
- ..
- 7. Sasha will throw up hairballs. This may happen 2 or 3
- times during the week. Just let it go, and I will clean
- everything up when I get home.
- ..
- 8. Checking the mail every few days is adequate. Don't get a
- lot of mail, but get a lot of advertisements and they fill
- up the box, so just leave everything on the dining room
- table.
- ..
- 9. Heat set to on and 62 degrees. That is cold for us, but
- Sasha seems to be okay, at least I think. The heat only
- comes on upstairs, so when it is 62 downstairs it is near
- 70 upstairs. Normally at night I turn the heat off
- entirely, but not sure what to do in this case, so will
- leave it on at 62.
- ..
- 3. Mil's very good friend Peggy called last night to check up on
- me. She thought you might consider taking Sasha to your place,
- so you don't have to travel across town twice a day. I leave
- this to your judgment on how best to approach this.
-
- [On 101123 2137 Arlette says not good idea for Sasha to go
- to her house, because other cats would be traumatizing.
- ref SDS 15 G54Q
- ..
- 4. Can't think of anything else; so call if needed.
- ..
- 5. Pam indicated she will stop by on the weekend, so if you see
- her you can compare notes on cats and dogs (you both love
- them), and her mom (we all loved her).
- ..
- 6. The family has good news to celebrate for Thanksgiving. Mil's
- son, Ron, had a PET scan on Friday, and it evidently shows good
- response to treatment. He got his second treatment today, so
- hoping for the best.
- ..
- 7. On balance, Mil would be very pleased things are being handled
- as well as possible.
- ..
- 8. By copy putting you touch with Pam and Peggy, so you have more
- communication options.
- ..
- 9. Thanks very very very much. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
