- managing user IDs and controlling access to the users directory

- bit tricky, but mostly just detail work. If Earthlink can't

- Gary concludes...
-
- 11. Running everything from a memory stick seems doable. Keeping
- the contents of the memory stick from being copied doesn't
- sound easy. There is also the problem that this defeats
- backup. Also, memory sticks fail rather more often than hard
- drives and need to be replaced, so there needs to be provision
- made for doing that. I don't know what security provisions are
- available built into memory devices today, but it is possible
- that these issues have been addressed by some manufacturer.
