040914 - He removed the two teeth using his hand without an instrument,
040915 - indicating the teeth were only temporarily put in place.  The doctor
040916 - explained the reason for the initial step of a temporary installation
040917 - was to allow the underlying teeth over which the crows were installed
040918 - to "settle."  He said that teeth "errupt" or grow to fill a void until
040919 - they meet resistance from the teeth above.  Since a temporary crows
040920 - was in place for several weeks the degree of errption increases,
040921 - because temporary crowns do not provide the same degree of resistance
040922 - to erruption as do the permenant crowns.

040930 - Doctor Lam did some modifying by ground down the new crowns.  This
040931 - reduced the "heaviness" of the bite on the left side, but created a
040932 - new problem of a "slide".  The second tooth in particular was

040936 - Steve was supervising and made some suggestions.  Doctor Lam made
040937 - several changes and tested these, perhaps as many as six putting the
040938 - teeth in and removing them.  On the last adjustment grinding the
040939 - tooth, it seems now to fit perfectly.  The pressure closing the upper
040940 - and lower teeth seems uniform, and there is no noticable "slide."

040943 - Cementing and gluing the new teeth entails some discomfort.  The
040944 - gluing agent initially is cold and this causes an initial pain, but
040945 - this quickly subsides.  Once the teeth are in place, the doctor usings
040946 - a standard cleaning instrument to remove the excess cement that is
040947 - pressed out the sides from forcing the new crowns into place.
