-
- 1. CA 15-3
-
- CA 15-3 began to drop from 95 reported on 050308,
- ref SDS 14 0001, to 88, as expected, during the meeting
- on 050212. ref SDS 11 ZF7F Will continue to monitor for
- trend establishing favorable response to treatment.
- ..
- 2. CT Test results
-
- New CT test scheduled for 050325.
-
- ..
- 3. Breast examination
-
- Much of the breast is improving, especially the lower
- half. Coloration and softness seem more normal today,
- and the sore from the punch biopsy taken on 040419 has
- nearly healed, indicating response to treatment that
- aligns with falling CA 15-3 tests.
- ..
- AC treatment was interrupted on 050212 by hospital stay
- of 4 days due to infection from cat bite. ref SDS 12 0001
- This lowered WBC that affects immune system, so doctor
- skipped a week of treatment, reported on 050214.
- ref SDS 13 02BB Skipping treatment reduces concentration
- which may have caused cancer to increase.
- ..
- The upper left area of the breast has new bumps, and
- sores, and IBC coloration is stronger in this area, and
- has begun to spread upward toward the neck. This is
- similar to the condition reported on 041202 that caused
- Millie to get treatment at the emergency room.
- ref SDS 3 0001 In that case, it turned out that
- increased inflammation and temperature were expected side
- effects, ref SDS 3 RC92, which had not been disclosed by
- the doctor at the time medication was prescribed two (2)
- days earlier to treat the wound from the punch biopsy
- taken a year earlier on 040419, which had not healed.
- Today, the doctor feels these new more severe conditions
- may indicate the breast has pockets of cancer that are
- resistant to AC chemotherapy treatments, which have been
- administered unevenly due to low blood counts.
- ..
- The doctor commented these pockets of resistance to
- chemotherapy may be treatable with surgery.
-
- [On 050329 switched treatment to Taxotere and
- capecitabine (Xeloda), because disease progressing
- during treatments with AC. ref SDS 16 887S
- ..
- [On 050502 visual improvement sores and inflamation
- are receding, ref SDS 17 EO5J
- ..
- [On 050510 further improvement inflammation (redness)
- seems entirely gone, and softness has returned to the
- breast. ref SDS 18 EO5J
- ..
- [On 050520 dramatic improvement after 2 cycles of
- treatment with Taxotere and Xeloda. ref SDS 19 R19I
- ..
- During the meeting, Doctor Johnson called Doctor
- Riley-Paull and left a voice mail message asking the
- doctor to examine Millie for surgery, because the breast
- may be resistant to full recovery with drugs.
-
- [On 050324 meeting with Doctor Riley-Paull who found
- conditions that make surgery very high risk, and so
- not recommended until recovery from IBC is
- accomplished with chemotherapy. ref SDS 15 0001

- 4. Treatment plan...

- finally begun to fall, and much of the breast appears
