120823 -      The bad news is that this image has been saved too many times as
120824 -      a jpeg. The problem with it is jpeg artifacts, and there is no
120825 -      way to fix it. The good news is that it is a very simple graphic
120826 -      so I just recreated it.  I saved it in three formats: jpg, gif
120827 -      and png.   The original was just a little over 17 kb, which is
120828 -      part of the problem.   The best I was able to do, while still
120829 -      maintaining a fairly high quality, was between 25 and 28 kb.  The
120830 -      best overall is the png at just under 26 kb, which I've attached.

121210 -       Paint Shop Pro in layers.  I am assuming that what you mean by
121211 -       "without background" is you want a white background to match the
121212 -       rest of your document.  That, of course, results in the white
121213 -       part of the image disappearing, not quite what you had in mind,
