071305 -      Mom's surgery was basically just like my Dad's.  Open/Close -
071306 -      which means that they couldn't do anything.  Once they got in
071307 -      there to actually see what was going on, it was much worse than
071308 -      anticipated.  The tumor in not only in her lung, but has spread
071309 -      out side and it is spreading to her heart.  There is a
071310 -      possibility of Chemo and Radiation Therapy.  She will be meeting
071311 -      with an Oncologist to discuss her options.  Mom is being strong
071312 -      and saying that she knew that something was wrong and that she
071313 -      expected this and that she is ready, however she also says that
071314 -      this usually happens to "other" people and so I don't think
071315 -      reality has really hit yet.  I am going back and forth with that
