Subject:   Fix Missing Records

Dear Rod,

We discussed fixing the Diary index when it is missing entries on 030119, but I didn't get that record published.

The record contains:

Fixing records that should be there but aren't should be even simpler since some variation on F2 to save should work, but there are some incantations that need to be done in order to set up the record. Rod is working on what those incantations are and whether the process can be simplified.
..
I ran into the problem today, and when time permits, a description of the fixup process would be helpful.
..
I clearly need to learn enough about the SDS index files to consider creating a program that can diagnose and repair any errors in them. We need to deal with that issue sooner or later, and probably better that I write something than bother you with the problem, which may run us into the memory problem again.
