SDS at work
Computer Configured and SDS Installed
Dear Rod,
I have made some progress.
..
I added 400MB partitions D - H to the hard drive. Not large, but way more than
enough for SDS.
..
I unpacked SDS from home and launched SDS.
..
The last update clobbered my rcv.bat (which I thought I could safely rename)
and the extracted files all had the same date. Still, SDS came up after
rezipping all the files I had just unzipped.
..
I reconstructed my recv.bat (attached) to use pkzipc directly as I was doing
before, and extracted the files again. I verified that the dates vary as they
should. This should address the problem you were having with your records, if
you haven't already done so.

I haven't had time to do more than that.
..
I hope to verify that SDS operates and to get the records transfer operations
functioning. That depends only on finding time to do so.
