Subject:   Bullet 1 Key Stroke and Advance Cursor
Working with SDS Lists and Outlines

Dear Rod,

For a bullet, even the F1 F1 F6 would be acceptable if it moved the cursor after inserting the character (and maybe a space?) would help. I am constantly trying to put in a bullet and a space and deleting the bullet.
..
Using Ctrl D would also work, since it doesn't seem to cause any problem in SDS. The current 4 keystroke method is just not good, so any improvement would help.

Use whatever is easiest.

The outlining sounds good. I have completed an introductory course in Information Mapping www.infomap.com and it makes heavy use of lists and tables for representing information blocks. Tables are essentially out of the question for SDS, but a good list / outlining facility will definitely be valuable.
..
Looking forward to the new stuff and getting on with the Subject Index.

We usually go out for breakfast on Saturday, so I may not get to anything until later this afternoon.

Thanks,

Sincerely,

Garold L. Johnson
