Subject:
Copying SDS Schedule Records
Rod,
I wanted to make similar schedule entries for several days in the
future, so I tried F1, Shift F1 from the first schedule record. That
can be done only from a Diary Record. So, I tried to copy the schedule
record, but they can only be moved, not copied. So the question
remains, how can I copy schedule records to get similar entries on
multiple days?
..
I have several classes coming up. All are similar in that they carry the
same subject and references. I could make a diary record out of one,
generate and move copies, then reset the diary record to a schedule record.
But that seems like a long way around.
..
My version allows me to copy parts of a DOS window, so I can get some of the
lines (the visible ones) into other records, and pasting into SDS using the
window menu appears to have the same effect as typing the text, including
word wrap, so I think I have most of that covered.
