This transmits subject proposal in printed format. Section "Interent Supports Virtual Office" on page 2, explains the proposal should be be reviewed on the Internet. The ideas and processes of a continuous knowledge stream, cannot be understood except through experience reviewing the proposal online. Second, linked support material shown as underlined and bold in the printed format, is not provided with this printed report because the linkages are a new and different form of support, that is not conducive to printed formats.
NSF instructions to print and submit the cover and certification sheet that are prepared as part of FastLane did not work. FastLane would not print the PDF files, or our system is not configured correctly. There were no errors reported, the thing simply did not print. NSF has this material online.
NSF instructions to submit the proposal through FastLane could not be followed, because FastLane was out of service. It repeatedly returned a message that it was down for maintenance and to try again later. To establish a record of submission the on-line report was sent to Rick Shindell, who works at the SBIR Conference and Resource Center, (rick.shindell@zyn.com). Rick was was helpful previously in resolving problems applying NSF instructions to use FastLane.
