                    Questions about change to Unix

Dear Neal,

Thanks for your letter received this afternoon. Changing to Unix sounds promising based on your report of having updated the program, and its history of improved service relative to NT.

We are anxious for JPS to make all of the changes needed to provide the agreed level of service. As discussed in my record (see point 7), this does not require additonal approval, since we have already agreed that JPS will maintain access to our server for FTP and HTTP activity.

When you changed servers on July 16, 1998, we were not notified and there was no lost time, except a mistake was made resulting in our Home Page being a Microsoft web page for a day or so. Please let me know what you plan to do, and the schedule for any time the system will be out of service to accomodate JPS work activity.
