I am pleased to join the District and others who have had the pleasure of working with Tom Keesling in the San Francisco District, in wishing him well on concluding a distinguished career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Tom's leadership showed on key initiatives to relocate District and Division HQ to new facilities, introduction of automated management systems, and re-organization of the District. His report on Communication Metrics was cogent and compelling. Tom's strategic sense combined with strong common sense, earned the confidence of Commanders, and the respect of colleagues over a long, productive career. Tom always comes to mind when I see signs saying:
