ref a.  The meetings at COE were delayed a week, which
is expedited action under the record so far.  Did have three good meeting this
week, the last with the

Deputy District Engineer
at 4p today, ref b.


It has links to the other meetings, if you wish to check them out.


There is a lot of

need,
some desire and the usual challenge to come up with

funding
in the face of
continued downsizing.
We should see if they are serious by next week.
