Thanks for input on the lighter side of Y2K and earlier on downsizing at the
North Pole.


If your schedule permits, and you feel comfortable with the idea, I would be
pleased if you could attend a presentation for the Deputy District Engineer,
(DDE) and District Counsel next week, based on

analysis
in the record for today.


Tom Keesling is arranging the

presentation
on Communication Metrics for
Major Blenchinger, newly assigned DDE,
and for District Counsel, Merry Goodenough.
On Nov 5, 1998 I sent to you Merry's

recent report
stating that Communication
Metrics saved the government an additional $190K.  Tom is seeking support
for recommending to the District Commander that CESPN
use Communication Metrics.  At the same time,

HQ in Washington D.C. is
preparing a report on broad based application.  So there is a dual track.


Tom's meeting will likely be next Tuesday or Wednesday, i.e., Jan 26 or 27.
