Here are ideas on continuing Communication Metrics in the District from our discussion today. Results of the meetings yesterday on Contract Administration and Schedule Review will be submitted within a few days. A key step now is to meet with COE executives about Communication Metrics, as discussed in our first meeting a year ago, on Jan 5, 1996.

Key members of your staff have experienced Communication Metrics; those less directly involved need help in understanding how it differs from conventional management methods. We have always been mindful of the need to explain and demonstrate the new methods of Communication Metrics. I appreciate very much the opportunity you have provided to do this and look forward to meeting your current objectives with purpose and energy.
