Subject: Communication Metrics

Dear Rod:
My name is Bob Gordon, and I work for Jim Lovo.

He has asked me to look at the Communication Metrics issue. I have spoken to Tom Keesling and others, and I have some questions for you. Please let me know when it would be convenient for you to talk, or you can call me at 202-761-8745.

Some of the questions I have are as follows:

  1. What private companies are using communication metrics, and how long have they used it?

  2. How long does it take to train someone to manage the system?

  3. Assuming the program resides on a local server, how many people can keep records simultaneously?

Who determines what hyperlinks are established?

Can it be automated in any way?

  4. What security measures are built into the program? How is unauthorized access avoided?

  5. Does anyone else offer a similar product? If so, what are the advantages of communication metrics?

I'm sure our discussion will spark more questions. I look forward to talking to you.

Sincerely,

Bob Gordon
