Dear Denis,
Thanks for the tip on Pattern Learning.
The other day, Bill Long indicated he would discuss with you the potential for another Welch assignment. Our discussion today touched on a possible effort that might be useful to you, and would not require using SDS, per se, on your projects, which seems disruptive and expensive at this time. (Communication Metrics is defined as a disruptive technology. in the NSF proposal.)
Possibly a small project would make sense to apply your Project Management forms and methods for display on web browsers and communication via Internet. This would give people experience with the benefits of linking information, discussed in the NSF proposal, so that a future effort with SDS on the job is less disruptive and more rewarding.
Sincerely,
THE WELCH COMPANY
Rod Welch
