Here is another update with some refinements from the past few weeks.
Seems to have turned out that an admin coordinator at one of the many facilities for Kaiser Medical Center in the Bay Area has jumped in to help spread the word on adding "intelligence" to medicine. Kaiser is a major HMO, maybe they are active in your area. In any case, her efforts help with cultural and technical issues, which you raised about using SDS for web mail. Finding a Jeanne willing to follow up, and print materials when needed, is a big part of getting started delivering intelligence on the Internet.
